Diablo has been one of Blizzard biggest money spinners ever since it launched, and the publisher has made sure to capitalize on that. Now, Blizzard has put out some strong hints that there is a new Diablo game in the making. The hint came in the form of a job listing on the company’s website. And though this makes it official, it does not make it an announcement, and the company has not given out any real details yet.
The job listing is for a dungeon artist for the Diablo franchise where the game is listed as an “unannounced project”. Which is pretty clear from the fact that the listing mentions, “The minions of Hell are growing stronger… We’re working on a new, unannounced Diablo project. Are you a skilled Dungeon Artist? Come work with us, and together we will build something exceptional.”
Even though the rest of the post offers no other details about the game in works, what is does hint it is that the game won’t differ much in terms of the look of the dungeons. The developers mention, “The ideal candidate works well in an environment of peers who are passionate about working on the dark gothic world of Diablo, making great games, killing millions of monsters and getting loot.”

This is not the first time that Blizzard has hinted that there is a Diablo game in the works. Earlier too a job opening was spotted online. And considering that Blizzard is still looking for a dungeon designer, it is safe to assume that we won’t be seeing any Diablo material at E3 2018 which is this week. Though Diablo on Nintendo Switch might just get a mention at the event.
